The last time DJ AudiTory beat everyone to the finish line with a chopped and screwed product, it landed him in the Los Angeles Times. His version of Yeezus was the initial trip down an even darker path of an already dark album. He beamed, probably hit the Southside while waving up the Northside and figured that if the tactic had worked once before, why couldn’t it work with an even more anticipated project?
Since late Wednesday night, half of the world it seems has gravitated towards Jay-Z’s twelfth studio effort Magna Carta Holy Grail, same for Tory who was waiting for the official split leak to arrive before letting his turntables work around “Picasso Baby”, the blaring horns of “Oceans” or the toying bounce of “Tom Ford”.
